Almond Oil
Used as a nutrient for softening and conditioning the skin. Almond oil is rich in protein and offers relief for itchy or inflamed skin. It is excellent for help in healing and moisturizing dry and chapped skin. It is nutrient-rich and is suitable for all skin types.

Apricot Kernel Oil
A natural oil from apricot pits. This oil has been used for centuries in cosmetics as a skin-softening agent. It is high in vitamin and mineral content and is particularly helpful for dehydrated, delicate, mature and sensitive skin. Good for all skin types..

Castor Oil
Castor oil is expressed from the seed of the castor bean plant. It is known to be of help to dry and aging skin because of its humectant properties. It is often used as an emollient and skin softener and has been known to be used in the treatment of skin disorders such as Psoriasis.

Cocoa Butter
Cocoa butter is derived from the seeds of the cocoa tree. It has wonderful soothing and emollient qualities. Good for Normal to Dry skin.

Coconut Oil
Good oil for dry, itchy skin and will not clog pores.

Essential Oils
All-natural oil, usually having characteristic odor or flavor of the plant from which it is obtained, used to make perfumes and flavorings.

Exfoliants
A substance of texture used to slough off dirt and dead cells from the surface of the skin. Some of the exfoliants we use are bamboo powder, cranberry seeds, crushed orange and lemon peels, toasted coconut, poppy seeds, and ground vanilla bean.

Fragrance Oils
A fragrance oil is a synthetic fragrance; the man-made version of a scent. Oftentimes fragrance oils begin with essential oils. Sometimes only a fragrance oil will do the trick--think of it as an aroma-therapeutic experience--it works for us!

Glycerin
Glycerin is a humectant, which means that it attracts moisture to your skin.

Grapeseed Oil
It is widely used for hair conditioning and styling, imparting a rich silky luster and enhancing hair growth. This is a light, penetrating oil and it nourishing for all skin types. It is rich in linoleic acid, an essential fatty acid quite important for the skin and the cell membranes. It also contains vitamins, minerals, protein, GLA and a small amount of Vitamin E. It is good in massage oils for those whose skin does not seem to absorb easily. This oil is mild astringent and especially suited for acne or oily skin.

Green Tea Powder
Green tea is often included in anti-aging skincare products for the antioxidant properties contained in the herb. It has three major benefits - that being a powerful antioxidant and thereby reducing free radical damage in the skin, a potent anti-inflammatory agent thereby reducing inflammation in the skin, and most importantly having a inhibitory action on collagenase - an enzymatic action in the skin where the collagen is broken down, resulting in more firm and elastic skin.

Macadamia Nut Oil
Macadamia Nut Oil is highly nourishing and emollient oil recommended for dry and mature skin. Due to the high Palmitoleic acid, which is also found in sebum. Macadamia Nut Oil has often been recommended for older skin, which starts to dry as the sebum production diminishes. It is also a skin lubricant and is easily absorbed by the skin. It has been described as the "vanishing oil".

Pure Cane Sugar
We use a pure cane sugar from Mexico. This sugar is made from 100% cane juice. It is a coarser cut that regular white sugar, ensuring an extreme exfoliating session.

Rice Bran Oil
Rich in vitamin E, Rice Bran Oil is expressed from the husk of rice and is similar to wheat germ oil but not as heavy. It's an excellent source of the essential fatty acids and antioxidant nutrients that promote overall good health. It is well used in creams to help soften and moisturize the skin.

Shea Butter/Oil
Made from the nut of the Karite tree in Africa. African healers have used it for centuries as the ideal treatment for dry, aging skin. Shea oil has all of the wonderful properties of shea butter but is easier to use in certain formulations due to its lower melting point.

Sunflower Oil
Healthy, natural sunflower oil is produced from oil type sunflower seeds. Sunflower oil is light in taste and appearance and supplies more Vitamin E than any other vegetable oil. It is a combination of monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats with low saturated fat levels.
